Job Description:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Recruitment the incumbent will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive communications programs across multiple platforms in support of their client portfolio (Campuses, Other than Full-Time program activity and the International Education Centre). Leveraging strong project planning, data analysis, technical and communication skills, the incumbent will provide guidance and expert support to their client.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the client’s digital communications throughout the enrolment funnel (from the prospect stage through to registered and returning student) supports strategic enrolment management strategies including recruitment and retention and is delivered in a consistent, effective and coordinated manner.
The incumbent possesses the creative skills to support a variety of audiences, the communications expertise to ensure optimal understanding by the receiver, and the technical ability to deliver communications within a marketing automation platform and content management system. The incumbent must stay current on emerging digital communications methods, platforms and technologies, in order to enhance our learner-driven strategies making recommendations as trends in the industry evolve.
The incumbent will be accountable for participating in the implementation of the overall communication plan for the portfolio of clients, leveraging a multi-channel environment, and for ensuring the accuracy and congruency of the content of communications materials. The applicant also takes a lead coordination role in communication efforts that support admission conversion and student retention outreach.
Required Qualifications
Minimum three (3) year diploma / degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing;
Minimum five (5) years of full-time related experience in results-driven marketing communications, including a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in email marketing/marketing automation systems;
Experience with the following:
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential;
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel;
Experience in Data mining and data analysis;
Experience in client relationship management platforms;
Strong project management experience;
Strong budget management skills;
Demonstrated experience in web and digital environments and graphic design best practices;
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with others on projects;
Able to demonstrate skills in campaign tracking and using measurement tools.
