Ottawa client looking for a great Event Management/ Marketing Specialist for a one year term hybrid (onsite twice a week) in their downtown office.
This role requires the candidate to have a federal government Enhanced Reliability clearance or be eligible for one (five years in Canada with working outside of Canada or leaving for long periods of time).
This candidate will work for an exciting Crown Corporation and will provide support to the Demand Generation & Activation teams within the Marketing department.
ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & Governance: Lead the evolution of flagship and smaller initiatives to align with demand generation objectives, governance standards, and efficiency targets.
End‑to‑End Event Delivery: Own planning and execution- lead and co‑hosted events, including program design, logistics, and onsite delivery.
Program & Speaker Development: Shape compelling agendas, content themes, and speaker lineups aligned to target account needs and commercial priorities.
Audience, Registration & Experience Management: Oversee attendee journeys from registration through onsite experience and post‑event engagement.
Marketing, Content & Thought Leadership: Drive integrated promotion, event content, and thought leadership assets in support of demand generation goals.
Stakeholder & Partner Management: Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including sponsorship development and negotiation.
Budget, Vendor & Agency Oversight: Manage budgets, contracts, agencies, and suppliers to ensure value for money and operational excellence.
Measurement, Insights & Optimization: Track performance, analyze engagement and pipeline impact, and apply insights to continuously improve initiatives.
CRM & Demand Generation Enablement: Leverage CRM and marketing systems to support lead flow, engagement tracking, and pipeline contribution.

Collaboration:
Provide guidance, best practices, and mentorship while working cross‑functionally to deliver integrated initiatives.
