About the RoleWe are seeking a collaborative and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as the Communications Coordinator. This role supports RHF’s marketing and brand efforts by helping to execute integrated campaigns, develop engaging content, and maintain RHF’s digital presence. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand, the Communications Coordinator plays a key role in advancing RHF’s visibility through effective coordination and content creation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the rollout of multi‑channel campaigns for RHF programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals for campaign assets.
- Assist in the execution of marketing and brand strategies aligned with RHF’s priorities.
- Maintain RHF’s content calendar to support consistent and strategic communications.
- Draft and edit content for web, social media, email newsletters, and print materials.
- Monitor and report on digital metrics (e.g., social media engagement, website traffic).
- Support the scheduling and publishing of content across digital channels.
- Act as a resource for internal teams on brand guidelines and templates.
- Liaise with vendors, freelancers, and partners to support marketing deliverables.
- Maintain organized records of marketing assets, approvals, and performance reports.
- Review, reconcile, and process credit card transactions and vendor invoices as required, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organizational policies and budgetary guidelines.
- A relevant diploma or a combination of relevant training, education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications or marketing role.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Indigenous cultures within Canada an asset.
- Experience working in or with the non‑profit or charitable sector is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English required, knowledge of Indigenous languages an asset.
- Demonstrated flexibility and resourcefulness in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with internal teams, external partners, and diverse audiences.
- Foundational knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Linked In, X, Instagram) and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to create, adapt, and schedule social media content, including basic graphic design using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in communications and workplace culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms an asset.
- Competitive Salary:
