Reporting to the Bakery Production Supervisor, this position supports the production of bakery products, including bread, cakes, pastries, and other items, based on orders received, while ensuring quality, freshness, inventory management, and waste reduction.

T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 13 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

• Produce the correct quantity of assigned products (bread, cake, and/or pastries) based on orders received.
• Perform production duties for various products, including:
  • Dough mixing, cutting, rolling, laying, forming, filling, shaping, and slicing.
  • Preparing various fillings such as fruits, meats, pastes, and custards.
  • Controlling fermentation and baking time, and monitoring temperature of coolers and ovens.
  • Decorating bread, cake, and/or other pastries.
• Control product quality, freshness, inventory levels, and waste.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and follow‑up equipment maintenance, and ensure workplace safety of the production area.
• Answer customer enquiries.

• Knowledge and prior experience in making bakery products (bread, cake, and/or pastries).
• Knowledge of workplace health & safety and food safety (Food Safe Certification required).
• Good understanding of tools and equipment relevant to the job.

• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, statutory holidays, morning and evening hours.
