Your Role
We are looking for a Project Manager - Healthcare to join our team in Ottawa!
In this role, you’ll join our team of experts to help lead and deliver major capital building and infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors, with a primary focus on healthcare. While healthcare experience is an asset, the role provides opportunities to contribute to multidisciplinary projects in other market areas.
You will be at the forefront of ensuring your projects not only meet but exceed client expectations, while having a knack for building strong and trusting client relationships.
Your ability to oversee multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle will be key in driving these projects to success, from identifying and addressing gaps to controlling costs and ensuring clear, effective communication.
Responsibilities
Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectivesLead programs of work and large capital projects, varying in size and scopeManage all stakeholders including both clients and consultantsEnsure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issuesRegularly report to the client on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reportsManage project staff allocated to your projects, peer reviewing their deliverables and continuously developing their knowledge and capabilitiesChair client, project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholdersMaintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Team Lead or PrincipalQualifications
A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, project management or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owner to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of project of varying size and scopeExperience managing and delivering projects in the healthcare sector is an assetExperience with the preparation of RFP's, tenders and tender closing/award proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applicationsProfessional industry credentials such as the following, or other similar industry recognized designation is considered an asset: PMP, P,Eng, RA , CSA Z8000-18 Canadian Health Care Facilities, CSA Z Infection Control During ConstructionA positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with local and regional teamsA strong sense of community and involvement in local community boards and associationsExpected Compensation: $72,158– $103,993 per year (CAD)
This compensation range represents our good-faith estimate at the time of posting, based on market benchmarks and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined considering the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and regional consideration. Annual bonus opportunities are in addition to base salary.
