Our client in the real estate sector is seeking a skilled Building Operator who takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and high‑performing commercial office buildings. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and service‑oriented team supporting a stationary portfolio that plays a meaningful role in the tenant experience.

You will work closely with property managers, contractors, and tenants to ensure building systems run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly. • Perform daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Monitor and optimize building automation systems to support energy efficiency.
• Conduct regular building inspections and take proactive steps to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and operational activities.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support after‑hours needs across the portfolio.
• Provide attentive customer service to tenants, helping maintain a positive and reliable environment.

• 3+ years of progressive building operations experience in commercial environments, ideally office buildings.
• Experience with building automation systems is an asset.
• Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and comfort working both independently and within a team.
