In Cloud, Data and AI at PwC, you will focus on utilizing advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision-making. You will leverage skills in data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modelling to support clients in solving complex business problems.

  • 6+ yearsof experience in data engineering or architecturewith an emphasis on data analytics and reporting

  • Proficiencyin developing data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Azure,AWSor Google Cloud

  • 6+ yearsof experience in design and development oflarge scaledata solutions usingdata modelling/ data munging/ data management tool sets such as SQL Server, Oracle DB, Azure Synapse, Redshift, Alteryx, Databricks, Azure Data factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, Collibra, Denodo etc.

  • Experience building data processing pipelines to integrate large datasets from multiple sources and formats 

  • Experience designing and developing data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within big data architecture using Python/Java/SQL etc. 

  • Proficiencyin
    big data technologies and tools such as
    Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka 

  • Proficiencyin common machine Learning libraries in Python, Spark, and Deep Learning/AI frameworks considered an asset

  • Proficiencyin any of the following programming languages,frameworksand technologies:
    JavaScript, React, Node.

    JS, Python, R, D3.JS,open sourcedatabases such as Postgre

    SQL, MySQL, Mongo

    DB considered an asset

  • Data engineering certification is a plus

    The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
