Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities.     About the role

    Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary Full-Time Systems Analyst I, Blood Management Solutions Technology to join our dynamic IT Internal Customer Experience team.

    The IT Internal Customer Experience team is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for internal users within Canadian Blood Services who interact with IT services and systems.

    In this role, you will be responsible for your respective SAP functional areas including Warehouse Management (WM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Inventory management (IM), and Procurement, ensuring appropriate levels of integration and information sharing between the team members in IT. You will also be responsible for supporting the use of SAP and its various platforms at Canadian Blood Services. This includes supporting SAP end users, using SAP information to conduct analysis, resolving end user issues, modifying existing SAP functionality and interfaces, and adding new capabilities.

  • Leveraging your technical aptitude and eagerness to learn, you will work with senior team members in supporting the technology lifecycle of enterprise blood management and laboratory systems.
  • Applying your technical skills, you will maintain system environments (development, staging, production), supporting configuration changes, updates, and cloud-hosted systems.
  • Employing your collaboration skills, you will assist in documenting system changes, impacts, and support activities, helping to maintain quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Using your engagement skills, you will help coordinate with CBS and technology vendors on assigned tasks, including tracking issues, validating fixes, and supporting releases.
  • Drawing on your communication abilities, you will contribute to a culture of teamwork, transparency, and proactive problem-solving, keeping senior analysts and stakeholders informed.
  • Applying your growing technical insight, you will support process improvements, routine automation, and operational enhancements.
