Position Summary:

Trend Micro is a world‑leading cybersecurity company building the next generation of security services to make the digital world a safer place to do business.

We’re seeking a Staff Front End Developer to lead cross‑team initiatives and set AI‑native & micro‑frontend direction and developer experience. You will operate as a builder, bridge, and teacher raising the bar within and across teams, shaping how we deliver customer value, and mentoring others to do the same.

Join a collaborative, innovative frontend team defining our UI platform, building well‑architected frontend experiences that delight customers. You and your team will shape how users interact with AI‑powered security with agentic and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows, to reduce cognitive load, make sophisticated insights actionable and present the face of our current and next‑generation AI‑driven security innovations at scale.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Thinks and operates at system level, able to connect dots across teams, products, and platforms to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
  • Leads initiatives with the team, makes pragmatic trade‑offs, and keeps teams aligned on outcomes.
  • Champions an “AI‑native” mindset, safely and ethically adopting agentic and AI‑enabled workflows to accelerate quality and delivery.
  • Is an inclusive leader and clear communicator who tailors messaging to different audiences and promotes morale, cooperation, and accountability.
  • Leads the activities of their team, with guidance from their manager, towards execution on well‑defined projects in service of customer and business value
  • Balances business, technical, and team needs, understands the intent behind requirements and designs for the future while delivering value now.
  • Plans assignments for the team and can help the team complete assignment, resolving most conflicts independently
  • Elevates others as a coach and creates growth opportunities for engineers around them.
  • Owns results end‑to‑end with consistency and integrity, remaining visible and dependable during ambiguity and change.
As a Staff Front End Developer on the team, in your day‑to‑day you will:
  • Plan and execute large, cross‑team projects—coordinate parallel work streams, align dependencies and milestones, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed for predictable delivery.
  • Partner across Product, Design, Backend/Platform, Security, and Customer teams to translate intent into scalable solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Mentor and level up engineers, use code reviews to teach and learn, create documentation and internal talks to share knowledge broadly.
  • Define and evolve frontend best practices with team input—establish PR review guidelines, lead sprint planning and retrospectives—and maintain a living knowledge base covering core libraries, platform integration, auth flows, data fetching, observability, component conventions, accessibility, i18n/l10n, secure coding, and key design decisions.
  • Set architecture and technical direction for micro‑frontends and cross‑module integration. Design and implement reusable frontend infrastructure with robust branching, development, and deployment strategies.
  • Establish and champion comprehensive test strategies across feature teams, raise quality bars and expand automated coverage.
  • Optimize developer experience and CI/CD for the web: build pipelines, release orchestration, canary strategies, and safe…
