Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to design & implement cyber use cases for the improvement of IAM cyber controls for the protection of privileged access/accounts.
Long-term 3-year contract in Ottawa, ON. Hybrid on-site two days a week on-site. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Support the project team and stakeholders across multiple departments to gather business requirements and produce key business artifacts using best practicesParticipate in information gathering and consultation with stakeholders to define business requirements as they relate to the deployment of various project phasesPerform business process analysis, define and document current state and future state business and system processesAssist and conduct business analysis activities through active engagement with stakeholdersFacilitate workshops and presentations with technical and non-technical resources and document functional and non-functional solution requirementsPrepare detailed specifications documents that will be used to evaluate, select, and test solutionsDevelop user acceptance test plans and/or participate in functional testing, acceptance testing and assist with end- user trainingSupport and work with internal employees during evaluations and deployments of solutionsDevelop and deliver communications to clients and stakeholdersDevelop end-user documentation, guidelines, visuals, and training materialsMust-Have
Skills:
10+ years of demonstrated experience in business analysis, managing broad internal and external stakeholder relationships5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst working on the large-scale projects involving technologies such as Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Entitlement Management, and Cloud-Based access controls (Conditional Access Policies, MFA, SAML, Oath)Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and principlesDemonstrated experience in implementing and migrating from one enterprise Access Management solution to anotherDemonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and validating complex business and technical requirements across departments and translating them into user storiesDemonstrated knowledge of system development methodology, including a commitment to the success of the testing phases and processesNice to Have
Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of Zero-Trust principles and implementationDemonstrated knowledge of SailPoint Identity
IQ, including lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), certification campaigns, and policy enforcementProficiency in business intelligence and data analyticsDemonstrated experience using automation to assist with replacing manual repeated tasks or handling large amounts of dataInternational Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation
