Position: Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end reporting solutions that support our business
Our valued Telecommunications client is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end reporting solutions that support our business operations.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable Power BI data models to handle large, complex datasets from multiple data sources.Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations including rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and dynamic time intelligence.Build paginated reports for regulatory and operational reporting that are print-ready and compliant with industry standards.Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to manage data access across multiple business units and geographic regions.Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and prepare datasets for reporting workloads.Employ performance optimization best practices including incremental data refresh, query folding, and aggregation strategies to ensure efficient report generation.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable Power BI solutions.Diagnose and resolve data quality issues working closely with upstream data engineering teams.Must have skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Power BI development with proficiency in complex data modeling and advanced DAX functions.Strong SQL skills for query development across large-scale relational data systems.Experience in paginated reporting and enterprise-level BI reporting solutions.Nice-to-Have skills:
Experience working with cloud data platforms.Agile experience in BI project environments.
