Fujitsu Canada has a full-time, permanent opportunity for a UI Developer to join our innovative team supporting enterprise-scale Knowledge Management (KM) modernization projects. This role is ideal for a developer with experience in building accessible, scalable, and user-centric interfaces for cloud-based KM solutions.

Top 3 primary skills

2–5 years of experience in UI development.

Advanced skills in JavaScript and HTML5 for building interactive, enterprise-grade UIs.

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (., React

JS, Angular, Vue).

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.

Experience implementing containerization for application deployment and scaling.

Proficiency in designing and developing software applications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop intuitive, user-centric interfaces for authoring, reviewing, and publishing KM content.

  • Build responsive and accessible UIs compliant with WCAG 2.1 and Canadian accessibility standards.

  • Implement containerization strategies for scalable deployment of UI components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI with backend services.

  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure quality, usability, and accessibility of KM solutions.

  • Mandatory Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in UI development.

  • Advanced skills in JavaScript and HTML5 for building interactive, enterprise-grade UIs.

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (., React

  • Previous remote or hybrid work experience.

  • General Requirements

  • Must reside in the Greater Ottawa/Gatineau area.

  • Hybrid work arrangement — onsite at least three days per week, with additional days as needed.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

  • Eligibility for Reliability Security status; minimum five years’ residency in Canada.
