Location: Hybrid - Downtown Ottawa

Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Canadian Secret Level Security Clearance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain application performance in Azure environment
  • Implement application monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide root cause analysis
  • Support deployment processes and release management
  • Collaborate with development teams for application optimization

    • Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

    • Application monitoring tools (App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights)
    • Understanding of large-scale Java application architecture
    • Database performance monitoring and optimization
    • Scripting languages (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
    • Incident management and troubleshooting methodologies
    • Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Knowledge of the ITIL framework

    Nice to have technologies:

    • Splunk for log analysis and monitoring
    • Azure Dev Ops for release management
    • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
    • Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet)
