- Coach and support management in leadership development, performance & talent management, change management, employee engagement, HR and communication.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to keep the business informed on all recruitment activities and develop strategies to address recruitment challenges.
- Provide support to the Talent Acquisition area as needed during Co‑op recruitments.
- Design, review, develop and deliver programs and processes such as orientation, onboarding, performance management, engagement and annual leadership and skills development reviews.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislative requirements.
- Influence HR strategies, policies and methods to continuously improve the HR team and Business Unit.
- Complete compensation assessments for new hires and internal employee changes.
- Draft internal Change of Terms letters.
- Conduct low‑risk investigations with curiosity and critical thinking.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A diploma/degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- CHRP/CPHR professional designation is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in the Marine or Aviation Industry, or military preferred.
- Experience supporting the creation, development and implementation of HR business solutions for a wide range of customers.
- Experience in end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally to a variety of customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality results in a timely manner.
- Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
