Employment Type:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team and support our growing energy services company, specializing in HVAC and efficiency solutions. In this role, you’ll oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy development to ensure a positive and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes to attract top talent for HVAC, installation, and advisory roles.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Develop and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Administer benefits, payroll coordination, and employee training programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records in our HRIS system.
  • Promote a positive company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about HR trends, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with management to support workforce planning and development.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a technical or service-oriented industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, recruitment practices, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., Bamboo

    HR, Workday).
  • Certification such as CHRP or CHRL (an asset).
