Hybrid Work Model

For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, Pune and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office at least one day a week.

Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.

Job Description

Collaborating with Assent teams and leadership, the Senior Employee Experience Business Partner, Regional influences and executes programs to attract, retain, and engage Assentees. Additionally, the role oversees the efficient and professional delivery of global Employee Experience (EX) programs, processes, and services in India, including but not limited to all areas of human resources including:
Talent Management, Team member Relations and Engagement, Development, Total Rewards, and EX Operations. This role collaborates with Assent teams and Leadership to influence and execute on global strategies, programs and initiatives that attract, retain, and engage Assentees and scale the business for continued global success. This pivotal position contributes to scaling the business for continued success while fostering a positive and engaging employee experience within Assent.

Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Provide EX support by implementing proactive and impactful human resource practices and processes that help to position Assent as an employer of choice.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support and insight that enables informed decision-making, aligns with organizational values, and contributes to maximum retention, engagement and productivity.
  • Partner and collaborate with HR colleagues to create, influence and administer HR programs and actively contribute to the development of HR global/policies, processes and procedures in support of company goals while focusing on team engagement and company culture.
  • Help enhance internal communication and cohesion within and between teams while ensuring a collaborative, engaging and high-performance environment.
  • Employee Experience front line and first point of contact for local Assentees - Assentee policy/process related questions, policy guidance and interpretation. Examples - vacation policy interpretation, benefits, where do I find? first point of contact.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local Business Operations and Senior Leadership teams to facilitate collaborative efforts and align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Understand the external factors that impact the supply of top talent, competitive position, salary level and candidate requirements for various positions.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour regulations, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of team social events and wellness initiatives - fostering a culture of wellbeing, celebration and belonging.
