Talent Manager, Employee Relations, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR / Recruitment Consultant

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our Advisory team. In this role, you’ll partner with the Functional HR Leader and Advisory HR Consultants to operationalize key people strategies that drive engagement, inclusion, and performance. What You Will Do- Provide administrative support for various HR processes including performance management, pay planning, employee listening and engagement initiatives.
- Create a variety of regular and ad hoc reports, with direction and assistance from the Functional HR Leader.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and provide support in the execution of their accountabilities.
- Draft communications and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with the Centres of Excellence such as Total Rewards, Inclusion and Diversity or Employee Relations (ERS) as needed.
- Collaborate with the Functional HR Leader and Advisory HR Consultants to implement talent strategies and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Support the Functional HR Leader and Advisory HR Consultants to create and implement employee engagement plans based on qualitative data collected from employees (stay interviews, exit interviews and focus groups etc.).
- Support the Functional HR Leader and Advisory HR Consultants in creating a diverse and inclusive work environment by identifying opportunities to embed diversity and inclusion in local processes and programs.
- Participate as a project team member on HR and People initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and post‑secondary diploma or certificate in HR. A CHRP designation awarded or in process is considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources in a fast‑paced, corporate environment, with a solid understanding of HR concepts, policies, practices and governance/legislation.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal clients, gain credibility, challenge the status quo and be viewed as a trusted advisor.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills with the ability to work in a changing environment.
- An ability and familiarity to work well in a team environment.
- Strong technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and interest in learning new application functionality.
- The successful candidate will be required to have fluent written and verbal English as this individual will support a national team and stakeholders across Canada.
The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
