Responsibilities
  • Support professional employees located throughout Canada.
  • Coach and support management in areas of leadership development, performance and talent management, change management, employee engagement, human resources and communication.
  • Work in collaboration with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to keep the business informed on all recruitment activities as well as think outcomes through developing strategies to address recruitment challenges.
  • Provide support to the Talent Acquisition area as needed such as during Co‑op recruitments.
  • Participate in the design, review, development and delivery of programs and processes such as orientation, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and annual leadership and skills development review.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the HR team and Business Unit by influencing human resources strategies, policies and methods.
  • Complete compensation assessments for new hires and internal employee changes.
