Front Line Analyst & Dissemination Officer
Responsibilities include the following.
Front Line Analyst Responsibilities- Review incoming requests, information or intelligence and conduct research using a variety of databases and open‑source search tools.
- Evaluate possible threat‑related concerns to national security and provide factual summaries highlighting specific concerns.
- Consult and collaborate with relevant operational areas; write key notes on files and remain informed of emerging threats.
- Verify that all requests, research and analysis are completed accurately and in compliance with procedures, policy and legislation.
- Mentor and provide training to new employees and participate in the development of training materials.
- Review dissemination requests, analyze information and provide summary reports, responses or briefing material to key partners.
- Conduct research in operational and open‑source databases and websites to obtain additional information on client requests.
- Liaise with external and internal key partners to obtain additional information and ensure accurate dissemination of intelligence products and triage of domestic and foreign reporting.
- Provide information and guidance on policies and procedures to clients.
- Develop, maintain and update dissemination protocols, processes, tools and tracking systems; upload and publish reporting into databases.
- Mentor and train new employees and assist in the development of training materials.
- Maintain awareness of current events, threats and operational investigative priorities.

Education- Undergraduate degree
- College diploma (2‑year program) and two (2) years of experience
- High school diploma and five (5) years of experience
The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.
Note:
Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.

- Knowledge of other languages
