This is your chance to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization in the software industry! As an Assistant Controller, you will be a part of the Onyx Group's finance team and will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of the Business Units.
Reporting to a Controller, the successful candidate will help oversee the month, quarter and year-end close process, as well as working closely with the senior management team in each Business Unit as their trusted business advisor.
WHAT WILL YOUR NEW ROLE BE
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timely completion of monthly financial reportingSupport the Controller in preparing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning activitiesCollaborate with accounting team members to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processesManage and support members of the finance teamHelping with due diligence and integrating new acquisitions into the finance groupTechnical accounting analyses under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
4+ years of experience in an accounting or finance environmentCompleted or working towards a CPA designationExperience building and managing relationships with stakeholdersExperience with IFRS reporting frameworkWHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Completion of a professional accounting designation programExperience working at an accounting firm or software companyFamiliarity with IFRSWHAT WE OFFER

The potential salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
