The Credit & Collections Administrator is primarily responsible for the collections of the outstanding invoices for the Environmental Services Group of Companies and for determining credit worthiness of both existing and potential customers. This position requires significant collaboration with other Tomlinson entities and team members.
Vacancy Type:

Manage collection activities (calls and/or written correspondence) utilizing established policies & procedures.
Participate in regular AR reviews with team members and report on AR status (AR summary, suspended customers, action item review, etc.).
Compile appropriate information to support refunds and adjustments.
Provide professional customer service while trying to resolve client discrepancies/issues.
Responsible for customer account reconciliations (external and related party).
Accountable for reducing delinquency of customer accounts in a goal-oriented organization.
Enlist the efforts of Sales and Senior Management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
Must communicate & follow-up effectively with Sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with both external and internal customers.
Review and recommend credit worthiness of both existing and new customers.
Assist with delivering invoices to customers if required.
Assists with month-end and year-end close processes as required.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the organization.
WORKING CONDITIONSStandard office environment.
Additional hours may be required during the month-end, quarter-end or year-end reporting cycles. May be required to travel occasionally to other divisional locations.
COMPENSATION INFORMATINONThe expected salary range for this position is $35,000 - $55,000 annually. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE2-4 years of related industry and financial experience with preference given to those with experience working in a mid to large company with a high volume of transactions.
Work requires willingness to sometimes work a flexible schedule. Strong attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of MS office:
Excel, Outlook, etc.
CCP designation would be an asset but is not required.
Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different levels of the organization.
