Financial Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst in Ottawa, ON(On-site).
Responsibilities:

Prepare and present Customer Business Reviews to assess performance and drive strategic insights.

Conduct monthly Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory analyses and prepare corresponding journal entries.

Execute the month-end financial close and data loading process accurately and on schedule.

Identify, prioritize, and escalate urgent or sensitive issues to management for timely resolution.

Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and integrations.

Proficiency with data and automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pivot, Power Query, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex models and automation solutions from scratch.

Strong background in financial analysis or accounting.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and integrations.
