Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

We’re partnering with a thriving organization to recruit a Controller who will lead the controllership function and serve as a key finance leader within the business. Our client develops software that helps communications providers manage, secure, and optimize the performance of their networks. This role is ideal for a technically strong accounting leader who enjoys staying close to the numbers, mentoring teams, and partnering with the business to drive results.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency, while contributing to forecasting, cash flow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead the month-end close and deliver accurate financials with actionable insights
• Provide IFRS guidance and act as a trusted advisor across the business
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team
• Manage compliance for statutory filings and taxes across multiple entities
• Develop and improve accounting policies, processes and controls
• Perform audits from planning to resolution
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow optimization
• Drive system and process improvements using technology
• Contribute to broader finance initiative as part of a lean, agile team

• Completed formal accounting education; CPA designation (or CFE passed)
• 3+ years progressive experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with IFRS
• Proven leadership with a hands-on approach
• Excellent people skills and ability to deliver accurate work efficiently
• Advanced Excel and solid Microsoft Office skills

• Experience with Net Suite
• Software or Telecommunications industry experience is a plus
• Experience with multiple entities/countries/currencies is an advantage

• $105,000 - $120,000 salary range
• Bonus potential up to 10%
