As a result, they are seeking a dynamic and business‑savvy Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a full‑time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior FA will be integral in supporting strategic decision‑making through insightful analysis, reporting and recommendations.
You will serve as a strategic business partner to operations, streamline processes, and champion continuous improvement within the finance function. This is a terrific opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities and to work under a fantastic mentor.
Main responsibilities include:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for a portfolio of properties
- Turn financial data into actionable strategies that boost efficiency, occupancy, and growth
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management and property owners
- Collaborate with external accountants on year‑end financial statement preparation
- Partner with property management teams to track performance, highlight trends, and guide operational decisions
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to streamline processes, manage cash flow, and ensure financial governance
- Work with maintenance teams to monitor weekly work orders and renovations, identifying trends and key focus areas
- Mentor junior analysts, strengthening team financial knowledge and professional growth
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required

Qualifications
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation complete or in progress is preferred
- Post‑secondary education in finance and/or accounting required
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive full‑cycle accounting experience
- Sound knowledge of ASPE
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel
