About the Firm:
A Group of Firms that is managed by the Owner operator of a firm in Pembroke, On, handling the service needs of the community.
Essential Tasks:
The task for the new candidate will be to dig in and help with monthly transactional work, monthly preparation and analysis of the financials, monitor cash flow, deal with government remittances and act as liaison with the bank and external accountants.
Oversea the Payroll and Commission pay-out. Plus in this non-union environment act as the Owners eyes and ears for accounting related daily tasks.
Established or newly established banking related communication is a nice to have for current and potential growth.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Quickbooks online a nice to have. Other internal proprietary software is used but is windows based and the person will be oriented.
Must be a intermediate excel user
Relationship oriented and comes from a Service base industry
Minimum 5yr-10yrs in industry as a Sr. Finance Manager or Controller
Have some supervisory experience and able to enhance controls when called upon internally
Salary - 105K-115K plus 3wks vacation and benefits.
