Accounting Clerk

Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a motivated Accounting Clerk for a 4-month contract. This role is perfect for someone with a background in finance who wants to expand their experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist with data entry for accounts payable and receivable
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain ledgers
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare and process expense reports and invoices
• Maintain filing systems for financial records and documents
• Assist with basic payroll and bank deposit tasks

• Previous accounting or finance experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Diploma or coursework in Accounting or Finance is an asset
