CompensationCAD $22/Hr
Responsibilities- Provide routine surveillance of the gaming floor, identifying potential problems such as poor game protection and suspicious individuals, and act as a support unit to other departments in protecting company assets.
- Pay attention to detail and exercise sound observational skills while conducting reviews, writing reports and logs that could be used as evidence in legal matters arising from criminal charges against patrons or employees.
- Work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies and procedures.
- Maintain an awareness of the gaming operation at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Live the Brand.
- Secondary school diploma; preference for graduates with post‑secondary education in Law or Security.
- Minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in a security‑related field or gaming‑related positions (Cage, Slot, Table Games or Audit).
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Casino surveillance or related surveillance experience is an asset.
- Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
- Analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- Ability to work in small spaces.
- Ability to watch computer screens for extended periods of time.
- Perform duties that often require standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, tasting or smelling. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy; may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors such as excessive noise.
- Typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, with occasional duty on the casino floor to complete job functions or pass through the area. Exposed to casino‑related environmental factors such as excessive noise.
