You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team supporting the testing, production, and delivery of various avionics products. The group works closely with Test Engineering, Technical Design, Production, and Repair & Overhaul (R&O) teams to resolve technical issues, improve product performance, and meet customer delivery timelines.
As Sustaining Product Engineer, YourKey Responsibilities Include
- Performing problem analysis, root cause identification, and solution validation using specialized test equipment;
- Executing processes related to Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and Change Impact Analyses (CIA);
- Resolving hardware component obsolescence issues throughout the product lifecycle;
- Generating accurate documentation including root cause analyses, procedures, and training materials;
- Participating in cost estimation studies and electronic solution design;
- Providing first-line technical support for production issues and defective units from R&O;
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a hardware electronics environment, preferably in high-tech industries;
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills in technical investigation and manufacturing problem solving;
- Have proven expertise with test equipment in environmental chambers;
- Be dynamic, autonomous, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills;
- Be bilingual in French and English.
- Experience in aerospace or telecommunications environments;
- Exposure to component obsolescence management;
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary technical teams;
- Involvement in productivity improvement initiatives.
