We provide cost-effective, efficient solutions to power system engineering, and engage in projects from preliminary engineering through to commissioning and startup.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Protection and Control Testing Engineer, P&C Technologist / Specialist / Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. If you are an excellent communicator and skilled problem solver with a strong attention to detail, we offer a dynamic work environment where you will be continuously challenged in all aspects of the testing and commissioning process.

This is a field‑based position, and extended shifts out of town are required.

• Testing and commissioning of power system protection & control schemes in the utility, power generation, and oil & gas industry
• Testing of microprocessor relays/IEDs with secondary relay injection test sets
• SCADA points testing
• Read and interpret drawings and troubleshoot/resolve technical issues
• Report preparation and submission
• Assist with generation of commissioning startup procedures or work instructions
• Ensure compliance with all safety practices as per corporate, client, and industry standards
• Initiate and/or respond to customer inquiries, discuss trouble details and confirm resolutions

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Technician Journeyman Ticket, or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma from a recognized institute
• 2+ years experience in Protection and Controls testing within MV and HV power systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with extreme attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work for extended periods out of town
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Background checks and drug/alcohol pre‑employment testing required

• Typical shifts will range from 4/3, 8/6, 10/4, and 14/7
• Working hours are generally from 7 am – 5:30 pm at 10 hrs/day
• Relocation is not required as part of employment
• Daily work hours and shifts are subject to change based on project requirements; applicants must be flexible
