The Opportunity

BPA’s Ottawa office is seeking a driven Mechanical Technologist to join us as we grow. Your Daily Impact

  • Help design mechanical building systems for various projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential).
  • Work primarily on the layout of the applicable business sector.
  • Survey existing conditions under mentor’s supervision.
  • Help draw up plans in AutoCAD and Revit.

Your Profile

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Science Technology
  • Member of OACETT (or in process) an asset
  • Any experience in consulting engineering, or other relevant experience is an asset, including internships.
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad, Revit and Office 365 Suite
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. French is an asset.
  • Excellent communications skills, with a client focus & collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Canadian Reliability Status.
  • Availability to be Full‑time in office for the first 6 months of employment.
