About the Opportunity

Join a federal public sector team modernizing how real property spatial data is standardized, validated, and shared across a large national portfolio. This role supports a common data environment where civil infrastructure and utilities information can be reused across multiple systems and lifecycle needs, from planning to maintenance.

You’ll work closely with technical and engineering stakeholders to turn mixed-format records, including GIS, AutoCAD, PDFs, and legacy drawings, into clean, reliable datasets that teams can trust. Your Responsibilities

• You’ll create, edit, and fulfill mapping requests using Arc Map, AutoCAD Map, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and FME.
• In this role, you’ll geo-reference and update utilities datasets, including water, wastewater, stormwater, electrical, and district heating and cooling systems.
• You’ll convert CAD-based information into GIS, extracting and restructuring data from a variety of source formats.
• You’ll interpret redlines, schematic diagrams, and inspector notes, then digitize and populate accurate spatial and attribute data.
• You’ll maintain metadata, support database synchronization activities, and contribute to standards and documentation.
• You’ll provide weekly status updates and monthly timesheet inputs aligned with completed work.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent, hands‑on geomatics experience, including creating and documenting GIS datasets and outputs.
• 3+ years of experience using ArcGIS Desktop to create, edit, and convert land infrastructure or utilities data into geodatabases.
• Experience working with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map3D, or AutoCAD Civil 3D for utilities or civil infrastructure data.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary infrastructure environments, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and architectural domains.
• Strong attention to detail, a data quality mindset, and clear documentation skills.
