We boast a seasoned multi-disciplinary crew ready to support our clients’ land development endeavors. To guarantee seamless project delivery, we provide an all-encompassing approach and a comprehensive array of services. Whether it's crafting commercial plans or orchestrating urban subdivisions, we strive to uncover optimal solutions, positioning ourselves as our clients’ trusted partners in land development. Armed with a wealth of project experience and an in-depth grasp of municipal requirements, the Egis team has establishedexpertise in the municipal approvals process.

Our land development team is growing and we are seeking a Senior Land Use Planner, the ideal candidatewill have the following background, skills and attributes:

  • Completion of a university degree in land use planning or related discipline;
  • Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP);
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in land use planning profession, preferably including experience in the private-sector and with supporting municipal-sector clients with development/peer review and policy review services;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French considered an asset);
  • Sound business development and client liaison skills and a keen entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Established skills and capabilities in project management, with the ability to manage dynamic projects of varying scales, including overseeing proposals, managing budgets, and leading project teams;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with clients and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills including the ability to provide leadership to a variety of technical professionals;
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word); and
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS considered an asset.
