What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the design and development of advanced hardware for optical systems, from concept to production.
  • Define and evaluate components such as amplifiers, transistors, microcontrollers, ADC/DAC, laser drivers, heater drivers, TIAs, and power supplies for analog designs.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including software, firmware, optical, manufacturing, and mechanical.
  • Conduct rigorous hardware testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Define and develop test requirements and support the product through the NPI lifecycle.
  • Create detailed schematics, guide PCB layouts, and perform simulations using industry‑standard CAD tools (Cadence, Ansys).
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Expertise in complex PCBA design and proficiency in hardware design and simulation tools such as Cadence and Ansys.
  • Hands‑on experience with testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
  • Proficiency in low‑frequency analog and mixed‑signal design.
  • Extensive knowledge of electronic component properties, fabrication processes, and assembly processes.
  • Experience in power/digital design and in control systems (a plus).
  • Knowledge of optical architectures and systems (a plus).
  • Knowledge of DC power circuitry (a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with teams, both local and remote.
