:Refinement of reading skills and strategies with regards to a variety of different types of extended texts relevant to the university workplace such as reports. Introduction to critical reading and analysis of idea development. Practice in recognizing tone, intent, bias, and attitude. Development and organization of expository prose in English of the workplace in formal and informal registers. Practice in achieving appropriateness and accuracy of expression;
vocabulary development.

B.A. with specialization in a field relevant to the teaching of L2 English or Higher Certificate in L2 English Teaching. Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college and/or university level. Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course. Experience with heterogeneous group.
An acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the required training and/or demonstrated experience.
