Federal and International Regulations. Introduction to Canadian Acts, Regulations and Guidelines pertaining to registration of agents affecting humans, animals and/or the environment. Comparative information on international trends and regulations. Basic knowledge for preparing submission packages in support of registration of new biopharmaceutical products. Discussion on the submission review process undertaken by Canadian regulatory agencies in carrying out detailed risk assessment of new products.

Requirements:
Doctorate in science with a specialization relevant to Pharmaceutical Science. Experience with and a working knowledge of federal pharmaceutical regulation. The ideal candidate would have post-doctoral training in the field of biotherapeutic research and development. Former teaching experience related to pharmaceuticals is an asset. An ability to coordinate guest lectures with subject matter experts in the topics to be covered by the course is required.
