:Examines the history of gay and lesbian studies as well as the emergence of queer theory and cultures. Understood in terms of what does not conform to normative sexualities, queer also offers to analysts a range of emergent cultural expressions.

Ph.D. preferred; undergraduate teaching experience preferred; publications and/or works that demonstrate an understanding of queer theories and links to indigenous, intersectional and disability approaches.
The course will be given virtually according to a predetermined schedule
