• Enthusiastic, willing to take initiative, seek professional growth opportunities and be a team player.
• Complete evaluation process in compliance with ODE Special Education Operating Standards.
• Experience and knowledge in using various testing protocols.
• Participate in preschool play-based assessment team.
• Understand and complete all reports in a timely manner.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on issues related to the education of children with disabilities to ensure the provision of the most appropriate educational program.
• Other duties pertaining to evaluations and/or counseling as requested by the superintendent including crisis intervention and support and in accordance with school psychologist professional standards and ethics.

LOCATION: Office located at the Putnam County Educational Service Center with services provided in Putnam County Schools, as assigned by the ESC Superintendent.

CONTRACT: 10 month contract and hours as established by Putnam County ESC

• Hold an Ohio Department of Education School Psychologist License
• Meet the qualifications as defined in The Ohio Operating Standards for Ohio’s Schools Serving Children with Disabilities and the Putnam County ESC.
• Ability to work with parents, students, and educational teams to identify academic and behavioral challenges; provide educational testing and evaluations; collaborate with the educational team to develop education plans for students.
