- Enthusiastic, willing to take initiative, seek professional growth opportunities and be a team player.
- Complete evaluation process in compliance with ODE Special Education Operating Standards;
- Experience and knowledge in using various testing protocols;
- Participate in preschool play-based assessment team;
- Understand and complete all reports in a timely manner;
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on issues related to the education of children with disabilities to ensure the provision of the most appropriate educational program;
- Other duties pertaining to evaluations and/or counseling as requested by the superintendent including crisis intervention and support and in accordance with school psychologist professional standards and ethics.
LOCATION: Office located at the Putnam County Educational Service Center with services provided in Putnam County Schools, as assigned by the ESC Superintendent.
ContractCONTRACT: 10 month contract and hours as established by Putnam County ESC

- Hold an Ohio Department of Education School Psychologist License
- Meet the qualifications as defined in The Ohio Operating Standards for Ohio’s Schools Serving Children with Disabilities and the Putnam County ESC.
- Ability to work with parents, students, and educational teams to identify academic and behavioral challenges; provide educational testing and evaluations, collaborate with the educational team to develop education plans for students.
BENEFITS: STRS, Health Insurance, and Paid Sick Days prorated based on the number of hours worked.
SALARY: Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience and number of hours worked.
