Job Title

LTO Assignment: 1/2 Social Studies, English Kindergarten (1.00 FTE) at Ottawa Catholic School Board

Provide classroom coverage for a teacher on leave in social studies and kindergarten English. Deliver instruction aligned with curriculum, manage classroom, support student learning, maintain assessment records.

• Good standing with Ontario College of Teachers.>
  
  Completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Effective September 1, 2025 teacher salaries will range from $51,234.00 to $ per annum under Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement.

• The board will identify the three most senior applicants with required qualifications.
• An occasional teacher is available for the assignment if not already assigned to another LTO position.
• Applicants will be contacted to confirm interest; substitutes will be considered to ensure five applicants are considered.
• If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, the board will select the successful applicant from the qualified applicants.
• If no qualified occasional teachers apply or all decline, the board may hire an external qualified teacher who is not on the roster.
