Job DescriptionThe board is seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators to partner with classroom teachers in planning and implementing a full day early learning programme. Responsibilities include collaborating in the design of high‑quality, play‑based programmes and environments, and supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of kindergarten‑age children within a Catholic learning environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement a full day early learning programme under the direction of the Principal.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to design high‑quality play‑based programmes and environments.
- Support enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children in a Catholic context.
- Be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations.
- Early Childhood Education diploma or degree.
- Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education.
- Recent experience with kindergarten‑age children preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Bilingualism.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience.
Hourly rate of $26.79 plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
