** CHEO Department of Psychiatry Division Chief, Community-based Psychiatry
** CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) is recruiting a Division Chief and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to actively lead clinical care, teaching, and research in the Division of Community-Based Psychiatry. The successful candidate will lead a team of 16 fellowship trained physicians who provide comprehensive and specialized psychiatric services to children and youth, age 0-18, and families. We pride ourselves on an academic environment that encompasses many clinical opportunities including inpatients, outpatients, eating disorders, urgent consultation, consult liaison services, substance use and concurrent disorders, neuropsychology, neurodevelopmental disorders, therapeutic school-based services, infant and early childhood mental health, trauma treatment, and numerous community collaborations.

CHEO invites applications from visionary and innovative candidates who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills across the clinical, academic, and administrative domains. They are adaptive and can lead teams through change; and have a proven record of achievement. Candidates must be eligible for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. Eligibility for a license to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is mandatory.

Candidates must be certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Canada or equivalent from another country. CHEO is a bi-lingual organization and while English is the language of the health record, functionality in French is an asset.
