Senior Project Architect

PR-TY Architects (Pye & Richards – Temprano & Young) is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our growing leadership team in Ottawa.

This is an opportunity to lead complex commercial, institutional, and government projects from concept through construction — acting as Architect and Prime Consultant on some of the region’s most meaningful work.

We’re looking for a seasoned professional who brings both design leadership and technical depth
, with a strong command of Ontario’s regulatory and delivery environment.

• Lead projects from programming, concept, and design through construction administration
• Act as Prime Consultant
  , coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams
• Ensure compliance with the OBC, NBCC, AODA, and OAA standards
• Manage client relationships, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Provide technical leadership across design, documentation, and construction phases

• Registered Architect (OAA) with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
• Proven experience delivering commercial and institutional projects in Ontario
• Strong knowledge of Ontario codes, standards, and approvals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit an asset)
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

LEED, BCIN, PMP and bilingualism (French/English) are considered assets.
