As an Altea Member Engagement Associate you will be the first point of contact for our members and prospective clients. Your role is crucial in delivering an outstanding customer experience that reflects our brand's commitment to excellence and sophistication. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with various tasks to ensure that every interaction is seamless and enjoyable.

You relish in working with people and consistently provide a five‑star customer service experience. You have a knack for establishing rapport and building relationships, spreading joy and optimism while consistently improving member retention by anticipating member needs and exceeding expectations day in and day out.

• Meet and greet members, both familiar and unfamiliar.
• Chat with members about progress with their fitness goals.
• Answer questions about group fitness schedules.
• Process day passes for prospective clients.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings with a smile.
• Reschedule attendees for appointments.
• Wipe down countertops and ensure furniture is arranged properly.
• Communicate consistently with all departments to enhance the overall member experience.
• Update and maintain accurate records in customer relations management software.

• Post‑secondary education related to the health and fitness industry (asset).
• Additional certifications or workshops in customer service (asset).
• 1+ year’s experience working in customer service.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (Emergency First Aid and CPR minimum) required before start date and must be maintained throughout employment; CPR renewed annually.
• Recent Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement of training and/or work.
