Overview
Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, the Bilingual Social Media Coordinator prepares and posts social media content, helps manage CBA social media accounts, and assists with CBA public communications.
The CBA provides a variety of benefits including comprehensive health and dental plans, summer hours, and an annual holiday closure in December. This role is unionized and part of COPE 225.

Fluent bilingual skills, both written and oral, are required.
$35.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Prepare and post written, graphic, and video content for CBA social media channels
- Monitor the CBA’s social media network
- Help develop strategies to drive online reach and engagement
- Attend events to record content as required
- Support the creation of other CBA communications products, including podcasts, newsletters, and CBA National Magazine
- Other related duties as assigned
- A college or university degree in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in:
- Creating written, graphic and video content for social media
- Managing social media accounts for a business or organization
- Demonstrated ability to produce creative and compelling online content
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Linked In, X, Facebook, You Tube, and Blue Sky
- Proficiency in graphic design, photo-editing, and video-editing software
- Familiarity with performance analysis metrics like Google Analytics
- Understanding of search engine and generative engine (AI) optimization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and as a part of a team
- Knowledge of the Canadian legal system is an asset
