Your new role
As the Senior Site Superintendent, you will be the field general for a high-profile high-rise project. You will have full site-level accountability, overseeing the construction process from excavation and shoring through to the finishing stages and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Leadership:
Manage all on-site activities, including the coordination of sub-contractors, laborers, and internal site staff.

Scheduling:
Develop and maintain the detailed construction schedule, ensuring critical path milestones are met withoutpromising safety or quality.

Safety &pliance:
Enforce rigorous health and safety standards in accordance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) andpany policies.

Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets municipal codes, architectural specifications, and our high-tier quality standards.

Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, inspectors, and clients during site visits.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is a seasoned veteran of the high-rise industry who remains calm under pressure and leads by example.

Experience:

A minimum of 10+ years in a supervisory role within the ICI or residential construction sector, specifically leading high-rise/concrete formwork projects from start to finish.

Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of building codes, structural drawings, mechanical/electrical systems, and the logistics of tight urban footprints.

Leadership:
Proven ability to manage large-scale crews and keep diverse sub-trades aligned and motivated.

Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with modern construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project).

Local Expertise:
Familiarity with Ottawa’s sub-trade market and local municipal regulations is considered a significant asset.
