Who

are you?

You are an experienced Senior Cost Manager - Electrical with 10+ years experience, seeking your next step or currently working in a similar role within a comparable environment. You are motivated to join a growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. In this impactful role, you will be providing leadership and direction, actively embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and management of cost estimates across all project phases.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of cost reporting including cashflow analysis and change management.
  • Drive value engineering and risk management initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on life cycle costing, benchmarking, and sustainability.
  • Act as the primary client liaison for all cost‑related matters.
  • Mentor and support junior cost consultants and project team members.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cost management.
  • A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with Canadian equivalency if obtained outside Canada (WES etc.).
  • Membership of relevant professional organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) or The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it quickly.
  • Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Revit is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience on at least two projects that have a total value of $100M+.

Salary

The base salary range for this full‑time role is $90,000.00 - $ per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, not the total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
