Operations Coordinator

Overview

The General Contracting division at Thomas Cavanagh Construction has proudly provided comprehensive general contracting and construction management services to the community for over a decade. Our privileged engagement extends to overseeing and constructing projects for external clients, as well as contributing internally to various divisions within the Cavanagh organization. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the general contracting team while maintaining client and trade partner relationships in the industry.

Day-to-day working knowledge of Vista, Palantir and Autodesk Build to coordinate with the various sectors of Thomas Cavanagh Construction.

• Assist the Operations Manager with general administration tasks such as filing, data entry, and recordkeeping.
• Maintenance of Autodesk Build project management platform.
• Financial analysis, and printing of financial reports from Vista.
• Daily review and processing of payroll through 360 Manager.
• Assist with GC accounts payable, track project invoices for receipt of payment from Clients.
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are respected throughout the workflow process.
• Assist in writing and preparing proposals and help with tender closings.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for internal GC meetings.
• Assist in planning and organizing GC events such as team building and training.
• Maintain up to date health and safety training matrix for GC Division.
• Maintain GC Team Calendar to include tenders, holidays, vacations, etc.
• Maintain up to date resumes and project spotlights for use in RFQ’s.
• Provide training support to other team members for project management tools such as Autodesk Build, Vista, Palantir and Site Docs.

• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Administrative experience within the construction industry is considered an asset.
• Experience with Vista is highly recommended.

• Experience with Autodesk Build and Palantir is considered an asset.

The salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $70,000 per year. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
