Site Superintendent – ICI Ground-Up Construction (Ottawa)

Salary: $115,000 – $140,000 base + vehicle allowance + benefits

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

A reputable ICI builder is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee ground‑up and institutional construction projects across the Ottawa region. The Superintendent will lead day‑to‑day site operations from excavation through structural completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality.

• Oversee all site activities for ground‑up ICI projects, including institutional additions and new build facilities
• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and safety procedures
• Manage excavation, shoring, underground services, concrete, structural framing, envelope, and MEP sequencing
• Maintain accurate daily reporting, site documentation, RFIs, and deficiency management
• Work closely with the Project Manager on schedules, updates, and problem‑solving
• Ensure strict adherence to building codes, drawings, and company standards
• Lead site meetings and ensure trades maintain productivity and compliance

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Supervisor on ICI ground‑up construction
• Demonstrated experience with institutional or municipal new build projects
• Strong knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical systems
• Proven ability to manage fast‑paced sites with multiple trades
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites across Ottawa
