We are a family of 4 with two boys ages 10 and 4. My wife and I are both professionals and we are looking for a full time nanny starting in the fall (October).We have the ability to do live-in(one bedroom suite) or live-out. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a part of our family. Our current nanny has been with us for 8.5 years, but our needs are changing and we are very sadly losing her.
We are looking for someone who can drive, as we are moving to an area of the city where you will need a car to get the kids to school as well as to their extracurricular activities. Main duties would involve helping to get the boys ready in the morning, making food for them and taking them to school, picking them up from school and taking them to their extracurriculars.
While they are in school, we would be hoping for someone who would also do some light cleaning/laundry/grocery shopping/tasks around the house, and some meal prep.
We need someone who is flexible with their schedule from month to month, as both my wife and I work shift work; however, we will guarantee full time hours per month (160hrs/month). Majority of hours would be during the week with occasional weekends. We are looking for someone who would be willing to do an occasional overnight which is paid at a flat rate.
Rates would be negotiated depending on if live-in/live-out and experience. We do have a car if you don't have one yourself, but you must have a valid driver's licence.
Valid First Aid course and Criminal Record check is required.
