Leverage Tek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Implementation) for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.

• The successful candidate will be required to work 4x/week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa/Gatineau

• Drive full lifecycle delivery of financial system improvements — from requirements gathering and configuration through testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Resolve complex, escalated financial system issues requiring deep functional accounting and ERP expertise.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, AP/AR, and Billing teams to define business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Elicit, analyze, and prepare formal business and functional documentation aligned with best-practice BA methodologies.
• Analyze system effectiveness, identify process improvement opportunities, and enhance integrations between financial applications.
• Serve as primary liaison with ERP/software vendors and external consultants, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives.
• Contribute to roadmap development, lifecycle planning, internal controls alignment, testing coordination (UAT), and upgrade strategy.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes (CPA strongly preferred).
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience supporting and enhancing ERP systems within accounting, procurement, billing, AP/AR, and FP&A environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to financial system implementations and enhancements — beyond pure production support.

• CPA Designation (or progress toward CPA)
• Audit or Internal Controls Experience (data access, security, master data governance)
• Experience with System Integrations, Process Re-engineering, or Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Salary Range $90,000-$100,000
